General Financial Aid Information

Financial aid offices at each college in Colorado are a great source for comprehensive and detailed financial aid opportunities available through that school.
The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) is a program of the
Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Students who are residents of WICHE states may enroll at participating two- and four-year college programs outside of their home state at a reduced tuition rate.
College Goal Sunday will take place at multiple locations throughout Colorado in February. This is an opportunity for students and parents to get free help filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (most financial aid opportunities require completion of the FAFSA). Spanish-speaking volunteers will be available at each site.
CollegeInvest a division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education, is Colorado's only not-for-profit organization dedicated to working with you to finance your higher education. They offer scholarships, 529 college savings plans and unique loan products and services with exclusive borrower benefits and special advantages.
The Colorado Servicing Consortium is an exclusive partnership between College Assist™ Loan Servicing and Nelnet, Inc. The consortium is dedicated to providing a streamlined and superior loan servicing model for borrowers, schools and lenders. Lenders participating with the Colorado Servicing Consortium offer some of the best borrower benefits and incentives available.

CollegeToolkit.com has calculators for everything from college savings to the value of obtaining a college degree.
FinAid includes financial aid calculators and answers to a host of financial aid questions for students and parents.

Scholarships

The Boettcher Foundation Program, originally created in 1952, now includes more than 1,900 current scholars and alumni and has provided nearly $42 million in undergraduate Scholarships.
Bill Daniels established the Daniels Fund in 1997 to support programs that encourage personal responsibility and achievement. The fund offers both grants and scholarships.
Colorado Nurses Foundation awards a variety of scholarships to nursing students from both rural and urban settings.
The Denver Scholarship Foundation is offering scholarships to the 2007 graduates of Abraham Lincoln, Montbello and South High Schools who are pursuing a post-secondary education at eligible institutions and meet certain eligibility requirements, DSF hopes to offer additional scholarships to all Denver Public School students eventually.
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Inc. provides a free scholarship search to Hispanic students from a database of 200,000 Hispanic-specific financial aid resources. Call 1-800-EXCEL-DC for more information. Bilingual assistance is available.
Financial Aid Assistance presents information about the numerous scholarship opportunities available for students of color throughout the United States. Included are all minority scholarship opportunities of which they have knowledge.
The Gates Millennium Scholars Program was founded by a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It is intended to increase the number of African-Americans, American Indians/Alaska Natives, Asian Pacific Americans and Hispanic Americans enrolling in and completing undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
United Negro College Fund — Since 1985, the UNCF Scholarships and Grants Administration office has awarded in scholarship assistance more than $105 million to over 28,000 students enrolled in its 39 member colleges and universities.
The American Indian College Fund provides scholarship support directly to each tribal as well as administering several scholarship programs offered to American Indian students attending both tribal colleges and selected mainstream universities as well.
