Convinced that your EFC is not realistic? Of course, if exceptional circumstances pertain (and you did not mention them on the FAFSA or PROFILE) you will need to submit complete data and request an adjustment. But if you did complete the forms as accurately as possible and still feel that the EFC is out of reach, contact the financial aid office at the appropriate college(s) for information on what to do next.
